Medialib is a vital link in successful project collaboration for students.

 

Through Medialib students have the ability to communicate and share ideas with students studying different courses to their own. This cross course collaboration creates great opportunities for higher quality work to be created.

 

Giving students the ability to showcase, share and discuss each others work, Medialib offers students a unique advantage in increasing their collaborative skills which will be invaluable in their future careers.

 

Medialib started as a university major project for Leo Lanksford, whilst studying a BA Honors degree in Interactive Media Production at Bournemouth University. The initial idea for the site came from Leo noticing a lack support facilities for the creation of collaborative projects and a lack of usable stock media that could be easily accessible to students.
